XC-SKI Perfect for the Nocturnal Student
At 10pm on Saturday night, what could be better than a winter frolic on the cross-country trails?
Article thanks to Jason D..
All week long I sat in class watching the snow fall on the Wasatch Mountains, and that was all I did. I kept promising myself that I would soon get out and celebrate the new snow fall, so at 10pm on Saturday night I grabbed my skis and bundled up to hit the nordic trails at Snowbasin, a mere 20 minutes from Weber State University.

Most people may not consider a late night the prime time to ski, but as a student with classes stealing all my day light hours I have found this as an excellent time to get some much needed cardio-vascular activity.
Cross-country skiing is the perfect way to get your heart pumping. With my iPod, and headlamp I was set for a workout not to be forgotten.
There are several trails now open including, Snowbasin, North Fork park, and Logan Canyon.
More information about Nordic Skiing in the Ogden area can be found on the Nordic Utah Website.
Break out your skis and get in shape for the holiday season!

It's good to know that other students out there share the same feelings. Work and School all day, followed by late nights filled with the things we most commonly do during the day. I have often found that a late night run or a bike ride on my trainer can not only help clear the mind and reduce the stress but it increases the blood flow to the brane causing one to think a whole lot better. For example: This comment took me close to 2.5 hours to write… It's been a while since I've had some physical stimulation. Time to make a change.
