Descente North America Relocates
In November 2004, Descente North America relocated their American headquarters from Englewood, Colorado to Ogden, Utah, The Hub.
The search for a new location began in 2003, after a recognized need for the company to be closer to venues that fuel its existence — ski areas. After investigating several locations in the western United States, Descente decided upon downtown Ogden. Utah's favorable economic conditions and excellent quality of life as well as Ogden's close proximity to various world class ski resorts was the basis for the decision.
Descente is pleased to become part of the newly designated Ski Manufacturers and Distributors Hub in Ogden. The Hub boasts quick access to both world class skiing and international airports. Snowbasin and Powder Mountain Resort's can be accessed within 20 minutes, Ogden Airport within ten minutes and Salt Lake International Airport is just 35 minutes away. Friends, customers and international partners you are always welcome to visit us here in the Hub!
