As The River Rises

Weber Basin and Ogden City released the flow on the Ogden river today for the Harvest Moon Kayak race. The river rose quickly from 10cfs to 500cfs on the initial release! A great series of photos was posted by David Weber on utahwhitewater.org.

This series of photos shows the Ogden River rising from 10cfs to 500cfs almost immediately. This series of photos shows an unsuspecting fisherman, and a group of Kayakers who rode the initial flow. You can view the photos here.

It was fun to see lots of people turn out for the event.
